Did you see the rainbow?
Almost a full circle
Out of nowhere she popped out
Quietly and quickly
And filled up the arena
While most of us were still sleeping.
Like a wildfire the news spread
Halting everyone in her track
So full of colours and lines
Shining away in full splendor
Making full use of the allotted time
She waited long for her chance
Brought a smile to everyone's face
Young and old
Parents woke their sleeping children
Who soon were jumping in glee and joy
The first timers marvelled at its beauty
A rainbow never fails to hold your gaze as she preens and dances in the light.
Gone too soon...
A lesson in life
